A Light Chaser's Favorites Every photographer has a list of favorite photos. Quite often this does not reflect either poplar choice or what critics might favor. Nor are these always perfect photos from a technical point of view. However, each of them touches the soul of the photographer in ways even the best technical work cannot. Those who know the photographer well will know why.

Photo 4-1 Old Glory-Gray Day $25.00 This was taken from our deck overlooking the Minnesota River in North Mankato. It required a number of shots before everything finally came together. Film.

Photo 4-2 Bumble Bee on Flower $25.00 Seven Mile Park, Nicollet County, Minnesota. It took a lot of shots before this one came together. That's the wonderful thing about digital photos. Light chasers can see when they have the shot.

Photo 4-3 Cicada Husk $25.00 The Tree Haus, North Mankato, Minnesota. This is one of the first digital pictures I took, and it sold me on Carl Zeiss lenses for low light shots.

Photo 4-4 Can on Sand $25.00 The Tree Haus, North Mankato, Minnesota. Every once in a while something ordinary catches a photographer's eye, like this pop can on the driveway to the house. The result can be an extraordinary photo.

Photo 4-5 Pump "Painting" $25.00 Near Wabasso, Minnesota. This started as a nice winter photo that turned into an even greater picture using some simple digital tools.
